How to make Teen Wolf's Full Moon Cake Pops

MTV's Teen Wolf returned in full swing with season 5B last Tuesday, and we're on our way to finding out- What's exactly going on in Beacon Hills?

Is Le Bete' on it's way? Is Void Stiles back? Will Scott's pack keep it together long enough to battle Theo's newly-revived Chimeras? Will Beacon's hill resident Arkham Asylum ever be up to code? Probably not. But we can't wait to find out.

And because all of our Teen Wolf viewing parties need snacks that bite back, we baked up these moon-tastic full moon cake pops! I love how simple these pops are too make- and fun too.

What you'll Need:

White dipping chocolate

Fun straws or lollipop sticks

Different sized straws

A disk of black dipping chocolate, like Wilton Candy Melts

A deep bowl or Cup

A block of Foam

What to Do:

1.) Make your cake pops. We used a Baby cake Maker, but you can make them with the crumble and roll method to. We show you how in many of our How to make Cake Pops videos on our Youtube Channel.

2.) Melt your white chocolate in 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring in-between sessions. When the chocolate is melted throughly, add 1-2 black waifers of your candy melts to achieve desired grey color.

3.) Dip your lollipop stick or chosen staw into a bit of the chocolate, and attach to your cake pops. Allow to dry in a foam block for 5-10 minutes.

4.) Take your cake pop and dip slowly, turning to get rid of excess chocolate and tapping slightly. We show you how cake pop dipping works in several videos too! Allow to dry.

5.) Dip again as you did before, this time only waiting 1-2 minutes for the chocolate to set. Take your straws of different sizes and make several different craters in the chocolate by pressing lightly into the cake pop. Make lines, holes and pat lightly to make moon-texture on the pop.

We finished off our cake pops with a touch of Wilton's Edible Gold spray to give it a bit of sheen. You can also spatter with a stiff paintbrush and melted black candy melts to take it up a notch!
